You make a valid point in that getting runes from Hill Giant drops also increases combat level,but dont forget to bury the bones to get prayer xp. Getting runes from this and other combatants such as dark wizards to engage in mage ultimately means that melee will always exceed mage, this may not be what you want so that runecrafting will become necessary.</description>

		<description>Wow.. totally agree making your own runes is boring!  Is it worth just killing hill hiants for example, hoping they drop runes?  I guess this would get your combat up as well?</description>
